Exhibition: A Thousand Faces of Formosa-The Nature and Tradition of Taiwan

 

Following enormous preparations over the last two years, the National Taiwan Museum, from Taipei, Taiwan and the National Museum in Prague have recently orchestrated an exhibition to be held from 7 June to 15 September 2005, entitled 'A Thousand Faces of Formosa-The Nature and Tradition of Taiwan' at the National Museum in Prague, Czech Republic. The Prague exhibition comprises a total of 324 items and 400 graphic displays in four sections--Searching for Formosa, Island of Diversity, Island of Uniqueness and Island of Beauty. It is the very first time for Taiwan to show its natural ecology landscapes, human diversity and ethnic groups' cultural heritage abroad.
