Marco Polo is a newly created play performed on a one hundred year old stage with specially designed puppets, costumes and Italian and southern Chinese music and singing. While retaining the beauty and attraction of traditional Taiwanese glove puppet theatre and its language, the play is innovative in content and presentation. Performed by puppet master Chen Hsihuang (73) and his assistants, its creation is a combined effort of Italian and Taiwanese composers, authors, musician, sculptors, singers and has received critical acclaim in the Netherlands.

Parting of the Newly Wedded is a dance based on the a long poem of the same title by the great poet, Du Fu of Tang Dynasty. The poem tells of the sad story of a young newly wedded couple. The husband was forced to join the army and the wife sadly saw her husband being led away. An innovative production with moving music blending traditional display dances and modern dance drama.
