  CHINESE     HOME

2002  is the first year of Taiwan’s entry into the World Trade Organisation (WTO). To commemorate this milestone, we will be launching the “Invitation to Taiwan” project. It is our hope that everyone will gain an even better understanding of Taiwan and that Taiwan and the U. K. will forge a stronger friendship in 2002. The aim of the “ Invitation to Taiwan ” project is to produce and support a series of events in the U.K. that are related to Taiwan. These events will cover many topics in the fields of culture, education, business and science. If you or your organisation would like to sponsor an event or are interested in collaborating with us on this project, please contact the Cultural Division of the Taipei Representative Office directly. Otherwise, please keep an eye on this website which will feature regular updates of these events.
